我们每天都在打电话，手机拨号键上的“#” 、“*”用英语怎么读？

如果你拨打国外的跨境电话，可能会听到这么一句话：

Please enter your account number followed by the pound key.

请输入你的号码，按“#”号键结束。

这里系统说的pound key，便是中文中的“井号键”的翻译，但对于这个符号来说，不同国家有着不同的读法习惯。

比如：在新加坡，人们习惯把井号键读成hex key. 在英国，人们更倾向于说成是hash key.

但是，以上的读法仅限于手机中的井号键，若是推特话题，或是微博话题中的“#”号键，读法则是不一样的。

比如：

#Black Lives Matter#

#距离四六级考试仅剩3天#

这时候的“#”号键会被称为hashtag，意思是“话题”。

而如果跟在数字前面，比如#1，#2，#3，则需要读成：number.

"#"号键我们知道怎么读了， "*"号键又是什么呢？

它的正式名称是asterisk，但是在口语中，为了方便使用，人们常常会简单称之为"star"，也就是说，把"*"读成star是正确的！

例如：

You can use the star anywhere in a string.

可在字符串中的任意位置使用星号。
